FLAVIOLA at the Discoveries Health Exhibition

Between the 20th of May and the 4th of September 2011, the FLAVIOLA project was featured in the Discoveries Health Exhibition hosted on the island of Mainau – Germany’s most famous botanical garden. This exhibition was organised by the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings and formed part of the Year of Science 2011 (“Research for Our Health”), a Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) initiative. The FLAVIOLA project was showcased in the pavilion of Mars, Incorporated – one of the consortium partners – and the exhibition was designed to enable visitors of all ages to explore a range of important scientific issues. Mainau received about 500,000 visitors during the exhibition period.
